Lec: Science Policy Discussion: the future of memory

Nine Consciousnesses

GOALS: 1. have fun doing science
2. regain natural curiosity about how we function
3. regain enthusiasm for learning
4. acquire new biochemical knowledge independent of a course environment
5. gain insight into how biochemists design and implement research projects
6. gain insight into how scientific data is used in for media reports and policy decisions

7. express biochemically-related information through effective communication, esp. writing.
8. integrate interdisciplinary knowledge with scientific research
9. gain an international understanding of science
You will complete a group research Project. It includes a group presentation related to how meditation can affect some measurable physical properties, for instance pulse, reaction time, concentration and memory.
