WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS, YOUR POSTER IS UNLIKELY TO PRINT PROPERLY:
1. Use only standard fonts in creating your poster. These are the fonts you may choose:
| For MAC |
Helvetica, Time, Courier, Times New Roman, Arial |
| For PC |
Arial, Times New Roman, Georgia, Verdana, Geneva |
2. Do not use the shadow or emboss features on your fonts.
3. It is best to use only one computer type in preparing and printing your poster, either PC or Macintosh. Sometimes "powerpoint" for the two systems is not compatible when printing poster sized documents.
I. POSTER CONTENT See examples in [David Murray Memorial] Science Center
Much of the information content comes from searching for key words in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. Three key sites are "AJCN/ASN" which are the two top nutrition journals, "Science" which is one of the top science magazines along with Nature, and "PubMed" which accesses all top literature.
[note that negotiation posters follow a somewhat different format - see lec3]
